Background and pain

The pain

Windows Sandbox wipes on exit and VMs are heavy: everyday users lack a 'try it, then nuke it' environment.

A buildable angle

The opening

A consumer-friendly app sandbox: install into isolation, one-click rollback, persistent snapshots. One-time or yearly license.

How to validate it

  1. Read the whole thread and note the recurring scenarios — repetition is the density of the need.
  2. Search existing tools around "sandbox / windows" and check which single step they actually cover.
  3. Put up a one-line landing page, share it back to Stack Exchange, and see whether anyone asks about pricing.

Existing options

The smallest footprint virtualization tool I know of of is Sandboxie-Plus . The download is ~24MB, and installed on my PC, it consumes ~75MB. That said, whether installing that audio player or any other software, including Sandboxie-Plus, check at VirusTotal or alternative that uses multiple malware analysis engines.
